This type of massage utilises compressions and assisted stretches to relax and elongate the muscles, bringing them back to their natural resting state and alleviating any tightness you may have.
The type of Thai Massage I use originates from the North of Thailand and is known as ‘Lazy Man’s Yoga’, as it employs similar stretches to those used during certain types of yoga practice. However, because the Therapist is actively taking you through the stretches and aiding the ‘end point’ of the stretch, most people find that they can get more out of the poses than if they were practicing yoga by themselves.
Great for people who do a lot of sport and exercise and want to keep on doing a lot of sports and exercise!
